FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Good questions, clear answers. Can't find what you need?

Prefer to just ask? Look for the chat bubble in the corner of any page. Ava can answer most of these on the spot.

Getting Started

What services does Lifetouch offer?

We do it all: telemedicine, home visits, in-office visits at our Albuquerque partner space, DOT physicals, and aesthetics like Jeuveau and Daxxify. Ask us what you're looking for and we'll point you the right way.

Where do you serve?

Telemedicine reaches anywhere in New Mexico. Home visits cover the Albuquerque metro and nearby towns (Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo, Placitas, Cedar Crest, Bosque Farms, and Los Lunas). In-office visits happen by appointment at our partner space in Albuquerque. See our Where We Serve page for the map.

Do you take insurance?

We're a cash-pay practice, so we don't bill insurance directly. We'll give you a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

How do appointments work?

Book online in minutes, then meet your provider by secure video, at your home, or at one of our office spaces. You'll leave with a clear plan and a follow-up.

What should I bring or prepare for my visit?

After you book, we'll send you a few short questionnaires. Please fill those out before your visit so we can hit the ground running. Otherwise, nothing else to prepare. Just show up, or log on.

Do you offer same-day appointments or walk-ins?

We're appointment-based rather than walk-in, and same-day telehealth is available when our schedule allows. Tell us what's going on and we'll point you the right way.

Membership

What is Lifetouch's membership model?

Essential Adult membership is $120/month (ages 18 to 64): unlimited telehealth and messaging, one in-person visit a month (home or office), one minor procedure included, plus 20% off additional procedures and neurotoxin. Children under 18 get the same benefits as an Essential Child ($60/month, standalone) or a Child Add-On ($30/month, attached to an enrolled Essential Adult), and each additional adult enrolls at $120/month. It's a direct healthcare services membership, not insurance, and it does not satisfy any insurance mandate. Enrollment is open now: book your first visit, and you'll sign your Membership Agreement and pay your first month at that visit. A parent or legal guardian must enroll, schedule, and sign for anyone under 18.

Payment & Pricing

How can I pay?

We take Zelle, cash, check, and ACH bank transfer. You can also pay by credit card, with a 3% card fee.

Are payment plans available?

Yes, flexible payment plans are available. Just ask when you book, or give us a call and we'll work out the details with you directly.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay?

We don't bill HSA/FSA plans directly, but we can give you an itemized receipt (superbill) to submit to your plan administrator. Check with your HSA/FSA provider first, since what's reimbursable varies by plan.

Is tax included in the prices you list?

New Mexico gross receipts tax applies to our services and is added at the time of service, on top of the prices shown on our Services page.

Visits & Appointments

What are your hours?

We're open during regular business hours, and our booking calendar always shows real, open slots. Outside business hours, on weekends, and on holidays, this chat and our booking line aren't monitored. For anything urgent, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Just give us as much notice as you can, using the link in your confirmation, by phone, or by email, and we'll get you sorted. Full details are in your patient agreement.

Where are you physically located?

We don't have one fixed clinic address. Telemedicine reaches you anywhere in New Mexico, home visits cover the Albuquerque metro, and in-office visits happen by appointment at our partner space in Albuquerque.

Do you see children?

Yes, we see patients of every age, including newborns and kids. Pediatric telehealth is one of the things we're glad to help with.

Do you offer Physical Therapy or Behavioral Health?

Both are coming soon, but not bookable quite yet. Reach out and we'll add you to the list so you're first to know when they're live.

Do you give vaccines?

We don't administer vaccines directly right now. Adults can get vaccinated at most pharmacies, and for kids, the New Mexico Department of Health handles routine childhood immunizations.

Medications & Safety

Can you prescribe pain medicine, anxiety medicine, or sleep medicine?

We don't prescribe narcotic pain medicine, benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Valium), or habit-forming sleep medicine. That's a safety rule we don't bend. But we can still help: your provider can offer safe, non-narcotic pain relief, calming options for anxiety that aren't benzodiazepines, and sleep medicine that isn't habit-forming.

Extras

Can I order supplements through Lifetouch?

Yes, you can order supplements through our Fullscript store, or use our Order Supplements page, linked at the bottom of any page. A Lifetouch store of our own is coming soon, too.

Do you offer any discounts?

Essential members save 20% on additional procedures and all neurotoxin. See memberships for details.
